This documentary was about the lives and careers of a Do-it-yourself artists and designers who inadvertently affected the art world. I really enjoyed it. One thing that interest me was the fact that pop art was only there just to be there. It like just a creative expression that just needed to get it out of your system. What also interest me was how big brands/corporations caught on to this movement. I was amazed to see Pepsi got involved and changed their image. They saw an artistic opportunity and boom Pepsi now has this modern approach. I think everyone can relate to these artists because I think everyone was highly creative at some point in your life, and actually had that carefree expression. I'm going to level with you by saying that I am a perfectionist and I can't be that free. I am sooo envious of that! Like ok,I will sit in a drawing class or sculpting class and watch others work and I am like" how the hell are you just going at it?!" They do it because they just do! Like for example lets say I ask you to draw a house. Yes a house. I bet like more than half of the class room would pick up their pens and begin. But I am part of the other half that feel the need to ask a million questions. Its so simple that it isn't even fair. I tend to over think everything like "Oh will this House be apart of the grade?" or "what are the limitations to this house?" Bottom line is that we need act like the beautiful losers in the world and just let go! This movie is a prime example that something (whether it's art or writing, or any medium) doesn't need a reason (like all the whys) to still end up being beautiful.
