Ray & Charles Eames Post

After watching several videos made by Ray and Charles. The one I found most inspirational and informative was the 1958 film The Expanding Airport. The overall idea was to avoid making travelers walk excessive distances through a large airport, Washington, D.C.'s new airport is to use mobile departure lounges to transport passengers from the terminal directly to the plane. I found this to be really interesting because well my father works for American Airlines and growing up in airports was kind of a norm for me. I enjoyed seeing how the diagrams stretch and shrink in size. I thought the map of the movement would be a great outline for our International Swiss Typography Project. I think we could possibly mimic the same shrinking and growing effect in our timeline when it comes to the shape and form of the letters in the typography. EX: San Serif --> boldness VS not. I think maybe we can present this project in the form of an animated GIF?
